The main social event in the year is the Club Annual Dinner and Awards Evening, at which an invited Guest of Honour presents the club trophies and awards for the year.

Other events include a popular Beer and Skittles evening, Barbecues, Beer Festivals, Race Evenings, and Fun Shoots (targets range from balloons and dartboards to shooting 'wrong-handed' or past an obstruction (as is common in field archery).

If you want to take a ride in a hot air balloon, go 'karting' or absailing, take a punt on the river (or the safer option of a cruise), or anything else, . Better still, offer to organise it.
