In July 2007 a 200 Club was founded
to raise funds for our new Clubhouse at our shooting ground in Normandy. At
that time the building did not exist, and funds were desperately needed for
the purchase and construction of the structure.
Since then we have come a long way. The structure is now up, but we still
need to finish the insides, and going forward, pay for its maintenance, as
well as all our usual expenses like bosses, targets, mowing, repair and purchase
of club equipment - the list goes on!
We need to work hard to raise funds, as the amount collected by the
annual membership fee is not enough to cover our costs. To fill the gap the
Club runs four open tournaments a year, runs numerous children's parties and
'Have-a-go's' throughout the summer. This all takes a lot of orgainsing and
effort by Club members.
Now there is an easy way to raise funds, without any effort
required!! You can help by taking part in the 200 Club for only £2.00
per month. For that, you get a chance to win one of the three cash prizes
every month. The amounts vary depending upon the number of people taking part,
but the percentage of the 'pot' for each prize is : -
1st - 25% (£100.00 maximum). 2nd - 10% (£40.00 maximum).
3rd - 5% (£20.00 maximum).
There will be a maximum of 200 members, but we still need plenty more pepole
to reach that number. Prizes have increased month on month since the first
draw, but the more people taking part, the bigger prizes become, and the more
we raise for Club funds. Anyone over the age of sixteen can join in, so download
an application form NOW and print out two copies - one for you, and
one for someone you know!
